Yesterday we were finally able to hold a prayer & share again at the Edinburgh Correctional Facility after having to close it down because of the COVID outbreak in Feb of 2020. Prayer & Share is the heartbeat of the Kairos Ministery, and it was great to see that heart start beating again. The Kairos Ministry at ECF is basically starting over. There are less than a handful of graduates from the 9 Kairos weekends conducted at Edinburgh still held at that facility. All of the graduates who participated in the 1st prayer & share since COVID-19 attended their Kairos weekend at other correctional facilities from around the State of Indiana. It was great to meet so many Kairos Graduates from other Kairos communities around the state and to restart prayer & share.
